We all have a greater understanding of the importance of bees nowadays. They are imperative to our survival. I've put together a little kit to pay homage to this incredible animal. So our children can appreciate just some of the products they make, so they can feel the texture and so we can just start a conversation.
Included is a thought provoking questionnaire, there are no answers as I want you to 'just ask your children. They have a greater understanding and connection to nature, more than we realise. You can always hop onto the internet later and seek the answers or go to your local library and find an age appropriate book on bees.
Whats included is a hand poured beeswax bee stamp perfect for squishing into playdough I used Wild Dough Co. Playdough in the pictures. If you live in a hot or humid environment pop your stamp into the freezer before play so it doesnt sweat or melt. Theres also a hand rolled beeswax rolling pin for making the most coolest honeycomb pattern on your dough. Lastly I've included a sheet of beeswax that can be cut using scissors, metal cookie cutters or rolled into a smaller rolling pin. The shapes you cut can be wrapped around the included rolling pin to add even more texture to your playdough.
We recommend adult supervision at all times and children above 3 (three). Not suitable for children who put things in their mouth as they can pose a choking hazard. Ensure before each use item is checked for wear and tear and discarded if damaged. To clean brush off dried playdough. Do not immerse in water or leave in a hot environment. Like a candle your stamp will melt
