I think it may be one of the first things we start cooking with our kids. The measurements don't have to be accurate, no one cares if you mix it too much and I'm yet to notice the addition of egg shells as they practice egg cracking. Its such a great way to build on those cooking skills, there's maths (don't tell the kids) and then there's all the communication skills. Yesterday I watched my daughters teacher explain to her how to crack an egg. My daughter politely watched, I wanted to say its ok she's well practiced but I reminded myself plenty of kids don't get the practice. So if you get the chance give it a go. 1 cup flour, 1 cup of milk and 1 egg - mix - cook and enjoy.
