Desmond is a jolly little bioplastic egg cup, created for all your chooky egg, Easter egg, nature ice egg and fizzy egg needs. He's just the right balance of cute and fierce and will inspire many craft and sensory adventures.
Desmond is made from PLA, which is a plant-based bioplastic derived from renewable resources, such as corn starch, tapioca root or sugarcane. He is FOOD SAFE but please HAND WASH before and after use. Do not leave Desmond immersed in liquids for long periods or he may warp. Desmond can withstand coloured fizz and washable paints - please note though that bioplastic is NOT hydrophobic and may soak up some colours. Please DO NOT put Desmond in the dishwasher. Exposure to extreme heat (in a dishwasher or direct sun) will damage the natural materials he is made from and shorten his lifespan. Please do not throw or drop Desmond or you may break his little feet.

Dimensions: Diameter Top of Cup - 5cm, Height - 5cm, Width at Base 5.4cm. Sized to fit a regular XL chicken egg.
These products are 3d printed; which lays filament down in layers. The process differs to injection-moulding traditional plastics and does not produce a completely smooth finish.
Recommended age 3+. Use under adult supervision. NOT to be used as a teething or chew toy.
